Herndon Fitness Renegades welcomed Jimmy as its newest member to the flock. Much as predators stalk their prey, Michael Weibel spotted Jimmy as an easy target potential candidate to sucker pull into the program. Michael lured Jimmy with vivid stories about lush confines and wild parties. As Jimmy is not too perceptive, the rest of the group was able to brainwash Jimmy into believing he really is enjoying himself. Like we said earlier, Jimmy is not too perceptive.

Tom took a week off and spent it in Emerald Isle. While he was away, the rest of the gang began plans for a huge party to welcome him back. Thos plans include the purchase of lavish gifts to be bestowed upon him because everyone misses him so much. Tom has asked everyone to please keep expenses under 3 or 4 thousand dollars because that's the kind of guy he is. He has also graciously offers to make arrangements himself for transporting the 52" High Definition TV back to his house, should that be his gift.

Michael Weibel had this to say -- "I feel that my fitness level is currently about a 7.3 on a ten point scale -- when Tom is around, I feel that level rises to a 7.45, maybe even a 7.5. He makes me bring my A-game. I miss him terribly." "Tom really helps elevate the karma of our workouts," chimed in Chris 'Fletch' Mitchell, "I feel so full of life afterwards, I get goosebumps just thinking about it." Said Timojhen, "Tom has a knack for driving us all the way to the edge of a cliff ... and then he pushes us a little more." "I like his counting," added Bill Vance.

It appears that there must be a snag in the plans, the party was not thrown on Tom's first day back. I'm assuming that everyone is waiting for the full class to be there so no one misses out. Just so everyone knows, I like vanilla cake with chocolate frosting ... and sprinkles, don't forget the sprinkles.

Well Tuesday morning's workout came and went and pretty much everyone was there and still no party. I'm guessing that either the delivery of the HD TV is a little late or everyone is waiting to make sure it is a surprise. If it's the surprise thing, then I'm not expecting the party to be this Thursday, so that would be a good day to throw it.

I can't believe how long you guys are dragging this out. You know, football season is almost here ... hint, hint.
